Greek/Balkan Trumpet Courses by VASILIS NALBANTIS

Vasilis Nalbantis is a professional and experienced trumpet player from Greece. He has recorded and played with musicians and bands of many different genres but his specialization is in the traditional musical idiom of Greece and the Balkans. In this course he will show the techniques used in the musical idiom of each area as well the basic theory needed in order to interpret these styles authentically. During the course you will learn and play songs, make transcriptions of solos, as well as get comfortable with odd time signatures and the use of microtones. But most importantly, you will have fun and enjoy the music in all it's different forms!

• One on one sessions
• Weekly 45 minutes sessions
• Course open for all brass players
• Technical level: Intermediate and Advanced (no prior knowledge of traditional music required)
• Price: 60,00€ per session or 200,00€ per month (4x sessions)
